Title: Playing To Win
This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of team building
with special emphasis on the importance of shared vision. Topics
include tips for selecting the best team members and a creative
look at the characteristics of a great leader. Other learning
outcomes include:
- You will gain a new perspective on how (and why) various
teams operate based on their specific mission. This understanding
will impact how you look at your team in regards to its vision
and motivation.
- You will discover a fast and effective way to analyze each
position on your staff to increase the probability of finding
the “right” person when turnover occurs. This valuable
lesson helps tailor interview questions to prevent unnecessary
surprises during the recruiting process.
- You will learn more about conflict and how it affects team
performance. The tips you learn will change the way you
manage your team when differences arise.
- You will experience the challenges that occur when communicating
verbal instructions. This increased awareness will improve
your ability to delegate, as well as, reduce errors and
re-work in the future.
- You will take with you a powerful tool to help you communicate
better with your own internal customers. This tool has
helped many others improve processes, prevent problems
and reduce
workplace stress.
